Week three of the Potawatomi Summer Language Immersion Camp will kick off on Monday, August 16th. This final week for the 2010 summer immersion schedule will wrap up activities on Friday, August 20th. The Hannahville Potawatomi Heritage Center is the location for this event. Lunch and dinner will be served at the nearby in the Woodland Park Gathering Grounds. Free camping is also available at the Gathering Grounds, including electricity, showers and facilities. Motel rooms are available through a block of reserved rooms (LIST) at the Evergreen Inn in Bark River, MI (906-466-4000). Please call the motel to confirm your room by Tuesday, August 10th. The Escanaba/Bark River area has a number of popular events also scheduled during this time period - with tourists and travelers looking for rooms. So please grab your room now!

We look forward to seeing the many participants from the first two weeks. It was exciting for the Hannahville community to share language with so many participants from the other Potawatomi bands from Michigan and other states. Even more new faces are anticipated for the Week 3 Immersion Camp. Click HERE to download the schedule for Week Three.
