The Hannahville Culture Committee sponsors a monthly Shi Shi Bé at the Community Center (September through April). This family event is one of several activities that have been initiated as part of the Potawatomi Language Revitalization efforts encouraged and supported by the Hannahville Tribal Council. Those attending this event also share a meal together. Photos below are from a previous Shi Shi Bé.
Watch for announcements of new dates for playing Community Shi Shi Bé beginning again in September 2008. Announcements will be posted to the main page of this website. In the meantime, you can

The Potawatomi Language Program and Language Technology Projects are funded by the Hannahville Indian Community and School, and a three-year Language Revitalization Grant from the
ACF Administration for Native Americans (ANA).
